JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES ARE SPYING AND STALKING US! What Can We Do?

“I dated a Jehovah’s Witness for a while and got her pregnant.  I have broken off the relationship, but she continues to manipulate me by threatening that she won’t let me see the child if I seek custody.  Now that I am living back home with my parents, I think the Jehovah’s Witnesses are spying, not only on me, but on them too.  For example, we have seen them parked across the street watching us, following us into stores, shopping malls, and restaurants.  It seems to be a different person each time and that makes it difficult to document for the police. Yet, the frequency of their presence with us in public and the fact that they always seem to know where we are is a bit disturbing.  Then, we started experiencing weird coincidences. We would say something in the house or on the phone and shortly thereafter an incident would occur outside the privacy of the house that would be exactly what we had talked about. After about 20 or so of these coincidences, we knew something wasn’t right.  We started to wonder if we were losing our minds or going crazy, but then we found website like www.ChristianWitnesses.com, Stalker-Beware.com/ and the discussion forum postings at http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/191823/1/Were-you-Stalked-or-Chased-After-Once-you-Exited-the-JWs-by-Elders and http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/208450/1/Elder-arrested-for-stalking that document cases like ours.  It is helpful to know that we are not alone in this battle, yet we are wondering what to do?  Will their stalking of us go away?”

WHAT BIBLE TRANSLATION DO YOU RECOMMEND?

“Today I decided to discontinue studying with the Jehovah’s Witnesses.  My decision was based on reading information from your website and talking to my niece who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness.  She shared with me her childhood experience of growing up in the Watchtower “truth” and then told me why she chose not to become baptized in this religion.  I have been studying with Jehovah’s Witnesses for 10 years, mainly because I thought they were the only source where I could learn “the truth” about what the Bible says.  Now I know they are teaching lies, but I don’t know where to start to re-learn the Bible.  What Bible translation should I study from?  Yes, I will pray about this too, but I would like to know what translation you are using in your ministry.  Thank you for providing your resources to all who seek to accept Jesus Christ as the truth into their lives.”

I AM AN AGNOSTIC WHO DECIDED TO STUDY WITH MY JEHOVAH’S WITNESS FRIEND.  What Consequence Should I Expect if I Decide Not to Continue My Studies Because I Don’t Believe in God?

“I am currently studying with a Jehovah’s Witness friend who I respect a lot. I only agreed to consider this since I am agnostic and do not believe in a higher power. However, I always thought, ‘Who am I to have such thoughts when billions believe I am wrong?’ I believe in truth, and if I claim to be a truth seeker, then I must admit that I do not know everything, especially the origin of man. I have studied the great questions we all have: ‘Where does man come from? What was the first living cell and where did it spring from? What created the spark that launched the cosmos at the beginning?’  Unfortunately, I can’t reconcile these questions with the belief in God; although the Bible is the most unique book I have ever encountered… Since I was told that my study is understood to be a journey that yields no consequence unless it results in an admitted knowledge resulting in baptism, implies, to walk away should yield no consequences to the relationship of a great friend who began this journey as my teacher. …Yet, I am struggling. Not just with my faith, but with my journey and the choice I made to take this journey down this particular road. What should I expect as a consequence knowing what I just told you? I look forward to your reply and will consider that reply thoughtfully.”

ARE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES PART OF THE ILLUMINATI?

“Are Jehovah’s witnesses part of the Illuminati? Why do some Watchtower publications have weird drawings in the pictures like the Revelation—It’s Grand Climax At Hand! book page 159 where there is a face in the palm of Jesus?

.:SHOULD WE PRAY DIRECTLY TO JESUS? —If we are encouraged to pray to Jesus, when should we pray to the Father?

“I read the Acts 7:59 verse quoted on your website to support the idea that we can pray directly to Jesus, but I am still unsure about this because I have been taught to pray to Jehovah the Father and not to Jesus the Son. Can you please send me more Scriptures that explain why we can pray to Jesus?  Also, if we are supposed to pray directly to Jesus, what do you say about the Lord’s prayer where Jesus taught us to pray saying: ‘Our Father…’ Since Jesus taught us to pray to the Father, why should we pray to Jesus?”

Testimonials

wdgrstudyThey are all there for me!

“I had Jehovah’s Witnesses visiting for six years. … The sad thing is now I have their beliefs in my head. So I put myself into God’s hands and asked for direction. …Well, the feeling of freedom is amazing. I am like a child, learning again for the first time. The reason I had to write to you was the Karen and Cindy conversations. Instead of me asking for help, one question at a time, they are all there for me!! It seems as if ‘Karen’ could read my mind

It’s so lovely for things to fall into place, mainly that ‘What happens when we die?’ This was a very big issue for me. I was scared while I did not understand even the tiny bit I do now. It’s such a joy. Instead of feeling unworthy(were all sinners I know) and feeling I would never be saved or go to Heaven. So, please thank God and Jesus with me for such help.”

jwsaveI have to tell you how your website saved my life.

“I have been a baptized Witness since 1995, and I have to tell you how you have saved my life. Every couple of years I get this gnawing sense that this is not quite right, that I am not 100% vested in what the Watchtower Society says.  …Lately, I have stopped attending meetings and my daughter, 13, has begged me not to make her go back. So I have been praying and chatting with friends outside the organization…

I can’t tell you my sense of relief when I stumbled upon your site and started to read the articles. I want to cry, but I’m at work. I can’t wait to get home because I am so excited I can barely stand it! Please, please, how can I meet others who feel this way? I sure could use the fellowship. Again, thanks for the work you do.”

exjw-summerGod bless you for the difference you are making.

“My brother and I were raised by a Jehovah's Witness mother. I am 52 years old now and still haven't been able to shake the stigma of the experience. My brother wasn't as lucky as me and ended up taking his own life at 17. I have been through everything ... I can't express how much I appreciate what you are doing... God bless for the difference you are making.”

I do not feel so alone!

Thank you for creating this website. After reading stories of former Jehovah's Witnesses, I do not feel so alone. My resolve to stay out of that religion has also strengthened. I have also come to realize that my depression, anxiety, and many other emotional scars inflicted by the organization and those in the ‘truth’ will take time to heal. But your website has also come to help me ... Thank you.”

hallJust as I was about to enter the Jehovah’s Witnesses again, God led me to your website.

“Hi…I am an Ex-Jehovah’s Witness from South Africa. ...I left the Jehovah’s Witnesses not because I did not agree with their beliefs, but because my wife could not handle it with me being a Jehovah’s Witness and she not. I became an anti-religious person. Then, just as I was about to enter the Jehovah’s Witnesses again, God led me to your websiteToday, I prayed to Jesus for salvation after I read your article on your website…”

I’m so glad that I have run across this site.

“After reading the article that David Reed wrote on your site, I’ve looked at things in ‘a new light’ so-to-speak. ...I’m so glad that I have run across this site. I’m sure that it was the Holy Spirit that directed me to all of you!

exjw_groupYour website is a great source for truth

“Your website is a great source for those seriously seeking the truth.… The Jehovah’s Witness elders shun me. I’ve known these guys for 30 years... Well, when I walk into the Hall they turn their backs to me. I have not seen my Jehovah’s Witness ex-wife, or daughter for two years. ...They hide my family from me. When I go to their homes, they smile with arms folded and say nothing.

The stories I read at your website were loud and clear - conditional love by the ‘brothers’! I have learned more in the Christian Church about unconditional love than 30 years as a Witness. When I accepted Christ, who He really is, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see both sides clearly. ...Without the Holy Spirit it is impossible to know the real TRUTH! Keep up your good work.”
